Here is where the air lubrication system comes in. It is because they help ships to achieve balanced movement which results in lower consumption of fuel.

So, how does it work? Air lubrication system takes small bubbles of air around that hull to the water, just like the centralized lube system made by NanJing Fourall. When these [bubbles or] bubbles are formed, it forms a boundary layer of air that allows the ship to sail on less resistant waters. The boat does not need to work as tough anymore; it gets that cushioning of layer in between. 

However, if we try to add some air bubbles into water (through an AMA), the cushion that will be formed by these is relatively weak. These and other components make up a squishy cushion that minimises hydrodynamic friction between the hull and water. This reduces the amount of water that needs to change around and through a vessel at higher speeds, resulting in improved performance with faster speeds. This allows ships to travel where they want, when they need with good time saving for the shipping business.
